How Nutritionists Use Flax Seeds

Flaxseeds can be tricky to get the most out of, but they donโ€™t have to be. Itโ€™s best to buy them whole, store them cold, but eat them ground. Thatโ€™s because the hard shell of flaxseeds is over-protective and our digestive systems canโ€™t quite crack into all of their omega-3, fiber, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Ground flaxseeds can be stirred into pancake batter, added to smoothies, or used to coat chicken or fish.
